Blue Note Audio Group was built out of real experience.
After years of working in live performance, formal events, and music education, we witnessed — and personally experienced — moments at weddings and special events where simple help could have reduced stress, but rigid policies prevented it. In some cases, providers had the ability to assist but chose not to because “it wasn’t in the contract.” We decided to build something different.
Blue Note Audio Group is rooted in preparation, professionalism, and a willingness to serve when possible. We believe contracts provide structure — but people deserve flexibility when it can be responsibly offered. Founded by veteran music educator and performer David Swinney, Blue Note Audio Group brings a musician’s ear and a calm, organized presence to every event. With decades of experience directing ensembles, performing live music, and coordinating formal programs, we understand not just how sound works — but how moments unfold.
Whether supporting a wedding ceremony, live ensemble, corporate function, or formal dance, our goal is simple: Deliver a professional and stress free event that makes you proud.
Ceremony Sound Package — $795
Designed for couples who need professional ceremony audio only.
Includes:
– 2 speakers (Turbosound)
– Recorded ceremony music
– 1 clip-on lavalier microphone for officiant
– 1 additional wireless microphone for readers or special moments
Not included: reception audio or recording.
Rehearsal attendance and/or services available as an add-on.
Ceremony + Live Sound Package — $895
For ceremonies featuring live vocalists or instrumentalists.
Includes:
– 2 speakers + 2 subs (Turbosound)
– Recorded ceremony music (if needed)
– 1 clip-on lavalier microphone for officiant
– Up to 3 wireless handheld microphones for vocalists or mic’d instrumentalists
– Guitarists and pianists accommodated (do not count toward the 3 handheld limit)
Not included: reception audio or recording.
Rehearsal attendance and/or services available as an add-on.
Ceremony + Contracted Live Musicians — $1,295 + Musician Fees
Includes everything in the Ceremony + Live Sound Package, plus:
– Coordination and booking of contracted musicians (upon availability)
– Pre-event communication and performance coordination
– Professional sound support for all performers
Not included: reception audio or recording.
Rehearsal attendance and/or services available as an add-on.
Reception Audio Package — $995
Designed for couples who need professional reception sound and coordination.
Includes:
– 2 speakers + 2 subs (Turbosound)
– Wireless mics for speeches and toasts
– Premium uplighting, dynamic moving heads, lasers, strobes, derbies, washes (Chauvet)
– Curated playlist music throughout reception
– Intro of wedding party (script required)
– First dances (script required)
Ceremony & Reception Audio — $1,695
Complete audio coverage from ceremony through reception.
Includes:
– Ceremony sound (as described above)
– 2 speakers + 2 subwoofers for reception
– Wireless microphones for speeches
– Premium uplighting, dynamic moving heads, lasers, strobes, derbies, washes (Chauvet)
– Announcements (script required)
– Seamless transition from ceremony to reception
Not included: reception audio or recording.
